We can boast a new winery, which is entirely built of reinforced concrete and is equipped with the latest technology necessary for making high-quality wines, in accordance with the latest trends in ecological architecture and the need to blend in with the landscape. We possess a subterranean are of 1,200 m2 where the temperature remains constant all year round, thereby perfectly conserving all our wines whether already bottle or undergoing a process of ageing in cask.
Our vineyards are rooted in a limestone-layer drained, sandy loam soil at the foot of a hillside facing southwards, at a height of 600 mts, giving rise to very characteristic conditions for the cultivation of our vines. Through the warm Mediterranean days and cold continental nights we are able to achieve a slow maturing process, wich together with our care and dedication, enable us to develop wines having certain, very personal organoleptic characteristics.
A greater commitment between quality and quantity of our wines leads us to control the cultivation by regulating the amount of fruit that is most suitable for each variety by means of pruning and green harvesting. Our white grapes: Verdil, Moscatel, Chardonnay, and red grapes: Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera, Tempranillo, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir are strictly dry grown using an integrated production so as to respect the environment to the full, and there is an average rainfall of 350 l/m2 per year.
